Overview Christmas Tree Fundraiser Coordinator — Temporary The Anawim Companions Society is looking for an organized, friendly, and dependable person to oversee our annual Christmas tree fundraiser from November 16 to December 11, 2026, working five days per week. Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling, supporting, and supervising volunteers.
- Selling trees and providing warm, helpful customer service.
- Managing cash handling, payment processing, and sales controls.
- Completing daily sales reconciliations, end-of-shift reports and inventory counts.
- Keeping the sales area organized, welcoming, and protected. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling cash and cards, leading volunteers, and working outdoors in winter weather. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach are essential. Retail, fundraising, or volunteer coordination experience is an asset.
