Job Overview As a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, you will provide thoughtful, individualized care to clients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, gynecological concerns, pregnancy and postpartum changes, and persistent pelvic pain. Because pelvic health is closely connected to the nervous system, we are looking for a practitioner who understands how stress, guarding, pain sensitivity, breathing patterns, and whole-body tension can influence pelvic floor function. Duties
- Assess pelvic floor concerns and develop individualized treatment plans based on each client’s presentation and goals.
- Support clients experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, painful intercourse, vaginismus, postpartum changes, diastasis recti, endometriosis-related pain, abdominal or C-section scar concerns, and other pelvic health conditions.
- Incorporate a nervous-system-informed approach, recognizing when a client may benefit from regulation, breathwork, mobility, coordination, or graded strengthening.
- Educate clients using clear, supportive language and provide practical home-care guidance.
- Document assessments, treatment,
and progress accurately.
- Collaborate with other practitioners to support coordinated, whole-body care. Your impact: By looking beyond the pelvic floor alone, you will help clients better understand their bodies, reduce fear around symptoms, and improve comfort, function, and confidence. Experience Required: Registered Physiotherapist in valuable standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, with pelvic health training and experience supporting clients with pelvic floor concerns. Preferred: Additional experience in chronic pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum care, endometriosis, trauma-informed care, pain neuroscience, breath mechanics, scar rehabilitation, or nervous-system-informed treatment. We are especially interested in practitioners who can adapt care thoughtfully rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Pay: $90.00-$150.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
