Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, coloring, and treatments tailored to clients' needs.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hair care and styling options.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and meet salon goals.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, managing client records,
and handling payments as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide clients with current options.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, colouring, and texturizing.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and suggestions to clients.
- Experience in upselling services and retail products is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and ability to maintain cleanliness in the salon environment.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a salon setting is advantageous.
