Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, your daily tasks will include:

- Developing specifications for instrumentation and control systems
- Preparing procurement documentation
- Participating in P&ID; (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) reviews
- Overseeing the development of technical drawings
- Conducting site visits and assessments




- Supporting the application and improvement of engineering procedures and standards
- Identifying and implementing process enhancements for improved team efficiency

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Membership in APEGNB (asset)
- Industrial sector experience (asset)
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written (French is an asset)

- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with CAD tools and 3D modeling (asset)
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems (asset)
- Understanding of PLC programming, HMI, DCS, and safety systems (asset)
- Experience with electrical circuits and power distribution (asset)
- A resourceful and adaptable approach
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset for working with colleagues and clients beyond the Saint John area
