Job Responsibility:

Voyager Buildings is in search of an independent professionalwho is experienced and passionate about Building Automation Systems (BAS). This role requires in-depth knowledge of building automation, HVAC and mechanical systems, and will involve programming and project management.

As a Programmer/Project Manager, you will play a vital role in contributing to our mission of helping building owners achieve their environmental goals. Your responsibilities will include the design and programming of the BAS. Additionally, you will guide the field team in best practices focusing on project implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be the on-site project leader to help execute the project from start to end.
- Help the in-house install team on site and manage sub-contractor work as needed.
- Review and understand BAS project documentation such as specifications, mechanical and electrical drawings to create control drawings as per customer design standards;
- Identify discrepancies and implement solution to project plan.
- Create and manage project installation schedules and timelines.
- Design and oversee the implementation of building automation systems, including wiring and configuration.
- Ensure successful project delivery from conception to completion.
- Attend team meetings to review and provide project updates.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Degree or diploma in engineering or related field (or equivalent).
- Building Automation Certification or professional training preferred.
- 4+ years of programming experience, with at least 2 years of installation and/or management.
- Experience working with Johnson FX (Facility Explorer), Honeywell Buildings Automation, Carrier IVu or other Niagara N4 systems using workbench.
- Knowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, facilitating effective collaboration across various organizational teams.




- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Visio, Excel, Word).
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, project controls, budgeting/financing, critical path analysis, risk management & assessment, negotiation, planning, cost estimation, cost/benefit analysis, and scheduling.
- Comprehensive understanding and troubleshooting of building automation systems and their components.
- Valid G license and access to a vehicle is required.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
