Job Responsibility:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support IVC Vita Health's Operations Excellence Program:

- Maintain OEE Data Spreadsheet and generate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly summary.
- Propose and Conduct motion and time studies to identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.
- Conduct 5S audit and provide feedback to Management.
- Facilitate Problem Solving for operating teams.
- Collect and analyze data related to operations, quality, and safety program.
- Develop flow for new processes to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and implement programs to address problems related to production, safety and quality.
- Assist Operations Excellence leader in executing Continuous Improvement Projects.
- Develop OEE improvement plans.
- Initiate tactical cost savings projects.

Administrative Duties (MS Office, Auto Cad, MS Access, and Vorne System):

- Create and maintain site reference maps and drawings using Auto Cad.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments in creating and maintaining LOTO tags.
- Creates Setup and Operation SOPs primarily for Packaging Equipment but may be required to provide support to Manufacturing Equipment.
- Maintain real time OEE data collection system primarily for Packaging but may be required to assist in Manufacturibg.

Other unplanned operational duties as required by management.

EXPERIENCE:

- 3-5+ years of Packaging experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement Methods (Lean, TPM, 6 Sigma, TQM) highly preferred.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSES AND REGISTRATION:





- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with leading projects and project teams.
- Experience with motion and time study including facility planning.
- Able to show initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Access).
- Proficiency with Auto Cad is an asset.
- Proficiency with VBA is a requirement.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Positive manual dexterity for use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, fax machines and measuring tools.
- Sitting, walking, standing for extended periods is common.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges is important for conversation.

Education Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or better in Statistics or related field
- Bachelor's degree or better in Mathematics or related field
- Engineer's degree or better
- Bachelor's degree or better in Engineering or related field
