In your role, you will:Supervise and support Mass Properties activities of aircraft development projectsParticipate in Mass Properties activities, such as:
Weight and center of gravity (CG) predictions at various levels of details in support of:
Aircraft configuration developmentTradeoff studiesUncertainty analysisCost estimationsSupplier discussions and negotiationsEtc
Detailed analysis:
Mass distribution and inertias estimationsFuel migration analysisBuoyancy assessment
Weight targets definitionEtc




Review and approve Mass Properties deliverablesParticipate in the planning and tracking of Mass Properties activitiesParticipate in discussions with internal and external contributors and/or partners as a Mass Properties representativeTake active role in integration activities as a senior representative of the Mass Properties disciplineContribute to the development plan for Mass Properties tools and processes with a focus on continuous improvementProvide supervision, guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the Mass Properties teamSupervise engineering students’ internships.How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate,You have more than 15 years of experience in aerospace engineering.You have more than 10 years of experience in Mass Properties.You have participated in aircraft development programs as a Mass Properties expertYou have a good understanding of aircraft systems and structures.You have a good understanding of the aircraft development and certification process.You areopen-minded, curious, rigorous and methodical.You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork and support knowledge sharing amongst team members.You have excellent analyticalandproblem-solvingskills.Youapproach problem solving with a holistic view.You have robust communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audienceYou have experience with CAD tools (Siemens NX experience is an asset)Possess auniversitydegree in EngineeringNow that you can see yourself with the Bombardier Team!
