Just Eat Takeaway is seeking a Technology Manager to lead and grow the Delivery as a Service team (DaaS) within our Logistics Pillar (Logistics Services).
DaaS is an entry point for our partners to access our courier fleet and network using their own App or Web versions.
As a Technology Manager, you will oversee the architectural design and technical implementation of solutions built by your engineering team. Location: Canada Remote
(If local to Toronto, Winnipeg or Calgary - 3 x Hybrid Arrangement)
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
Technical Leadership - Collaborate with your Heads of Engineers and peers to define and communicate a technical roadmap for the domain
Career Development - Help define goals and objectives for engineers in the team to lead and guide them throughout their careers and aspirations.
Prioritisation - Working closely with stakeholders and your Senior technology Manager to ensure the domain sets their priorities appropriately, in line with commercial needs and the Engineering Strategy.
Continuous improvement - Improve the effectiveness of the domain by proposing and implementing new processes, designs and engineering practices. Sharing these improvements across the wider Engineering org.
Communicate - transparently communicate your progress and discuss ideas with your teams,
other senior Individual Contributors and your Head of Engineering. Experience leading and developing teams of engineers as its core technology using an Event Driven Architecture
Delivering high quality software projects, driving forward best practices
Amazon Web Services (or similar e.g. Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
Desire to coach engineers and to drive a high performance culture
