Keep St. Michael Catholic Secondary School clean and safe as a Temporary Custodian in Stratford, working Monday to Friday evenings. Use cleaning equipment and maintenance skills across school facilities and grounds.

Reporting to the Principal, this 1.0 FTE position provides general cleaning and maintenance for staff and students. The schedule is 40 hours weekly, from 3:00PM to 11:30PM, at $25.29 per hour. Duties include floor care, washroom disinfection, waste removal, grounds upkeep, and occasional minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate cleaning equipment to remove dirt and heavy debris
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors, stairs, and hallways
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, lunchrooms, and fixtures




- Transparent snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies around school property

Requirements:

- Previous custodial or cleaning experience required
- School custodial experience considered an asset
- Mechanical aptitude for performing minor repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills; Google Workspace experience an asset
