Lead multi-outlet dining and banquet operations at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, with responsibility for service, staffing, and financial accountability.

Reporting to the Director, Food and Beverage Services, the Assistant Director supports strategic planning, coordination, and execution across Dining and Banquet Services. The position leads managers and staff while working with the Executive Chef, Conference Services, clients, and stakeholders. It emphasizes operational efficiency, guest experience, workforce planning, and departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide daily leadership to Food and Beverage Managers and staff
- Assess requirements and allocate staffing and resources effectively
- Coordinate services according to GRFs, contracts, and client expectations
- Monitor payroll, labour costs, budgets,



and productivity opportunities
- Oversee service areas, storage spaces, equipment, and beverage programs

Requirements:

- Five or more years managing multi-outlet Food and Beverage operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Financial management knowledge covering budgets, payroll, and labour controls
- Knowledge of wine, beverage programs, purchasing, and AGLC regulations
- Adaptable availability for irregular schedules and weekends
