Provide secure geriatric nursing care as a Casual Registered Nurse with AgeCare in London, Ontario, supporting residents and their individual needs.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Nurse collaborates on resident care within their competency. This position applies nursing knowledge, judgment, interpersonal skills, and ethical practice. It supports resident safety, teamwork, health awareness, and AgeCare’s principles of Respect, Teamwork, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate nursing and other resident services within the neighbourhood
- Lead shift reports with members of the health care team
- Communicate changes in residents’ status to team members
- Document significant resident condition changes in charts
- Review and process physician orders according to procedure

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
- Registration and good standing with the provincial registry
- Knowledge of nursing home legislation and applicable regulations
- Knowledge of Provincial College of Nurses standards
