Leavitt Machinery seeks a skilled Field Technician for its Service team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will repair and maintain wide-ranging machinery across Northwest British Columbia, especially Prince Rupert. The work includes safety inspections, customer communication, parts coordination, service documentation, and timely completion of assigned jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair material handling equipment and machinery
- Complete routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Communicate service progress with the Service Dispatcher




- Discuss job scope and repairs with customers
- Coordinate parts and complete required warranty documentation

Requirements:

- Red Seal Heavy Duty or Automotive trade certification
- At least five years of related repair experience
- Hydraulics and electric engine service experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and regional travel availability
- High school diploma and strong communication skills
