Drive financial reporting accuracy as an Accountant with Lush in Vancouver, using reconciliations and variance analysis in a hybrid role. Support accounting operations across North America.

This full time Accountant supports Lush Handmade Cosmetics and its Accounting and Finance teams. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and contribute to month-end close activities. The work spans Digital, Retail, Manufacturing, and Admin/Corporate business streams across North America. You will also maintain variance review files, support financial statements, and help ensure compliance requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly reporting journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis against the month-end close calendar




- Maintain monthly variance review files and GL account mapping
- Reconcile prepaids, operating expenses, deposits, and retail inventory
- Support audits through documentation and cross-department coordination

Requirements:

- CPA designation or enrollment in the CPA PEP program
- Three or more years of accounting experience
- Month-end close experience in a multi-entity environment
- Lease accounting experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under time pressure
