As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will design, adapt, and maintain cloud solutions supporting Canada Life business needs. You will apply Azure architecture, Terraform, platform security, and distributed systems knowledge while balancing scalability, reliability, performance, compliance, and cost. Cross-functional collaboration includes Product Owners, developers, quality assurance, governance, and support experts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design scalable Azure Databricks data platform solutions
- Administer Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and ADLS Gen2
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code




- Troubleshoot Azure service performance and integration issues
- Provide operational support through an on-call rotation

Requirements:

- 10+ years supporting cloud-based data platforms in production
- Hands-on Azure Databricks workspace, cluster, and Unity Catalog administration
- Solid Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
- Experience with Entra ID, Active Directory, and security controls
- Computer Science education or equivalent education and experience
