Lead protection engineering for BBA’s major electrical projects, applying relay settings expertise and professional engineering experience across Canada. This regular position includes project leadership.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will contribute from business development through in office equipment commissioning. Your work spans protection design, HV/MV engineering, system studies, and technical reviews. You will coordinate internal disciplines, mentor junior engineers, and manage design activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver protection and electrical design solutions
- Develop HV/MV single lines, layouts, and schematics
- Design relay settings and configurations
- Perform short-circuit, load-flow, and protection studies
- Lead project design phases and technical reviews
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering degree and Canadian professional registration
- Twelve years specializing in Protection Engineering
- Experience in industrial, generation, and utility sectors
- Knowledge of vendors and protection schemes
- Working knowledge of CSA, IEEE, and ANSI/IEC standards
