This Certified Truck and Trailer Mechanic position supports UPT’s commercial fleet through inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and braking systems while meeting Ontario and federal safety requirements. The work supports safe, reliable, operationally ready equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial trucks and heavy-duty trailers
- Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and braking systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled fleet servicing




- Document defects and correct deficiencies before equipment returns
- Coordinate repairs with Maintenance, Safety, and Operations teams

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario 310T certificate or recognized provincial equivalent
- Skilled heavy-duty truck and trailer maintenance experience
- Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, suspension, and drivetrains
- Ability to perform independent diagnostics and safe repairs
- Valid Class 1 or AZ driver’s license
