Reporting to the Supervisor, MRI and Site Coordinator, Medical Imaging, the MRI Technologist performs examinations under departmental procedures. The work includes radiology information systems, patient preparation, contrast procedures, image processing, equipment monitoring, and protected care. You will support clinical teams and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform MRI examinations, paperwork, positioning, and patient explanations
- Operate imaging equipment and process or archive acquired data
- Monitor patients for contrast reactions and emergencies




- Check requisitions, coordinate workflow, and arrange porters
- Complete quality control tests and report equipment malfunctions

Requirements:

- CAMRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- One year of recent related experience or equivalent preparation
- Intravenous Therapy training when required by site practice
- Basic Life Support level CPR certification
- Knowledge of PACS and radiology information systems
