About the Role

Our client, a distinguished organization within the Media & PR industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor for a fully remote position. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can provide strategic guidance and leadership in all facets of communication. The Senior Communications Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing high-level communication strategies, advising senior management, and overseeing major communication initiatives. This position requires exceptional analytical, strategic planning, and execution capabilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's narrative and ensuring effective engagement with all stakeholders, remotely.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide expert advice and counsel to senior leadership on communication matters, including crisis management and public perception.
- Lead the development of key messages, speeches, and strategic communication materials.
- Manage complex communication projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee media relations efforts and act as a key spokesperson when required.
- Analyze communication effectiveness and stakeholder sentiment, making strategic recommendations.
- Mentor and guide junior communication team members.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the communication landscape.

Requirements

- A Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic communications, public relations, or corporate affairs.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing successful, high-impact communication strategies.
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior executives.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management is essential.
- Proficiency in managing multiple complex projects in a remote work setting.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead effectively from a distance.
