Northern Health seeks a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for its Mental Health and Substance Use team. The coordinator manages specialized services, consultation requests, and patient transitions. Clinical guidance, education, care planning, and community partnerships support coordinated hospital and community care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate specialized mental health and substance use services
- Manage, assess, and prioritize consultation requests
- Provide clinical guidance and education
- Support care planning with interdisciplinary teams
- Foster community partnerships and seamless care transitions

Requirements:

- Current BCCNM registration as practicing RN or RPN
- Three years recent acute care mental health experience
- Three years recent acute care substance use experience
- Training in addiction, harm reduction, and trauma-informed practice
- Two years recent teaching experience
