About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in secure digital solutions, is actively searching for a skilled Endpoint Security Engineer to join their entirely remote team. This role is central to protecting our organization's endpoints (laptops, desktops, mobile devices) from sophisticated threats. You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing our endpoint security solutions, including EDR, antivirus, and host-based firewalls. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of endpoint security technologies, operating system internals, and common attack techniques targeting endpoints. Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security solutions (e.g., EDR, Antivirus, HIPS).
- Monitor endpoint security alerts and investigate suspicious activities.
- Respond to endpoint security incidents, including malware outbreaks and unauthorized access.
- Develop and maintain endpoint security policies and configurations.




- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of endpoints.
- Stay current with emerging endpoint threats and security technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and other security teams to ensure comprehensive endpoint protection.
- Provide technical guidance and support on endpoint security best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on endpoint security.
- Proven experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint).
- Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating system security.
- Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Knowledge of threat hunting techniques and malware analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as GSEC, GCIH, or endpoint security-specific vendor certifications are advantageous.
