This GCP Architect role requires 8+ years in cloud architecture and at least three years on Google Cloud Platform. You will shape migrations from Azure or AWS, LLM application architectures, and zero-downtime data strategies. The work spans core GCP services, Azure equivalents, Terraform, CI/CD orchestration, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute live production migrations to GCP
- Develop zero-downtime data migration and dual-write strategies
- Guide infrastructure engineering with Terraform and CI/CD
- Present architecture trade-offs and risks at phase-gate reviews
- Evaluate future-state agent architecture decisions with Google ADK
Requirements:
- 8+ years in cloud architecture roles
- 3+ years with GCP in architect or lead capacity
- Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Vertex AI, and IAM
- Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Database
- Experience with LLM architectures and agent frameworks
