Lead financial close and reporting at Midstream Energy Partners, supporting full-cycle accounting across energy operations in the United States and Canada.
This manager supports the financial controller with oversight of accounting, reporting, and month-end and year-end processes. The role spans multiple entities and industries while working closely with leadership. It requires US GAAP reporting, audit coordination, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements and footnotes
- Coordinate external audits and resolve audit findings
- Research accounting standards and document policies and positions
- Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, accruals, and revenue recognition
Requirements:
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Supervisory or management experience in accounting
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Financial close and financial statement preparation experience
- ERP proficiency, advanced Excel, and team leadership skills
