About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the automotive parts sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. This hybrid role will involve both remote quality analysis and periodic on-site quality audits at their Kimberley facility. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting internal audits, analyzing quality data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality management systems (such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949), excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal quality audits, both remotely and on-site, to assess compliance with standards.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Investigate customer complaints and product non-conformities, driving root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with production, engineering,



and other departments to promote a quality-focused culture.
- Prepare quality reports for management review.
- Support external audits and certifications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred).
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
- Excellent auditing skills, with the ability to identify non-compliance and areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote analysis with on-site responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the Kimberley facility for audits.
