This Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist role serves a high-volume caseload within VCA Canada’s multidisciplinary specialty team. The service supports gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and respiratory endoscopic procedures, alongside CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. Clinical and didactic teaching includes supervising and mentoring interns and final-year University of Calgary veterinary students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage diverse and complex internal medicine caseloads
- Provide exceptional patient care for referral cases
- Perform supported gastrointestinal, genitourinary,



and respiratory endoscopic procedures
- Teach clinically and didactically across veterinary training
- Supervise and mentor interns and veterinary students

Requirements:

- Completed Internal Medicine Residency
- Board-certified or eligible for Board certification
- Commitment to collaborative, team-based medicine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
