This Senior OCS Engineer supports electrification projects from conceptualization through commissioning. You will oversee delivery, check designs, coordinate interfaces, and provide technical expertise across civil, structural, electrical, and systems disciplines. The role includes contractor engagement, design reviews, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and check overhead contact system design delivery
- Coordinate interfaces with traction power, signaling, and trackwork
- Lead checking of OCS drawings and specifications
- Review contractor submissions and provide technical clarifications
- Support construction and commissioning with technical expertise
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of railway OCS design experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Canadian P.Eng. designation or eligibility to obtain
- Proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Experience leading teams and managing project delivery
