Diagnose heavy equipment issues using mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical expertise at client sites. This permanent position supports SMS Equipment customers.

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will maintain Komatsu and other equipment brands sold by SMS Equipment. The work includes preventive maintenance, basic mechanical repairs, failure diagnosis, repair assessment, and estimating necessary work. Customer service remains significant when recommending maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive maintenance on Komatsu and other equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues onsite
- Identify failures and determine necessary repairs
- Perform required repairs and maintenance
- Order parts and recommend additional customer repairs

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of experience
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic certification or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Komatsu product knowledge is an asset
- Flexible hours and customer service focus
