Engage with at-risk youth in transitional housing while providing vital support and guidance.Covenant House Toronto is seeking a dedicated individual for its overnight program. This position operates from 10:30 PM to 8:30 AM on a full-time, contract basis. Successful applicants will leverage a trauma-informed approach and support youth through their transitions to independent living. You'll facilitate life skills sessions and provide ongoing assessment and counseling.Key Responsibilities:Build supportive relationships with ROP participantsFacilitate life skill sessions and provide individual supportEngage in crisis intervention when neededCoordinate shifts and ensure safety protocols are metConduct reception duties and monitor spaces for safetyRequirements:Degree or diploma in child and youth workTwo years of experience in transitional housingTrauma-informed approach experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of community resourcesBecome an integral part of empowering youth through respectful support and guidance at Covenant House.
