McElhanney Ltd. seeks an experienced Commissioned Alberta Land Surveyor to manage diverse legal, infrastructure, energy, and construction surveys. Registered articling students nearing ALS designation may also be considered. The position supports project planning, client coordination, team leadership, and quality delivery within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish project scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations
- Lead survey crews and communicate project requirements
- Manage legal, energy, infrastructure, and topographic surveys




- Coordinate information from field operations through final deliverables
- Mentor junior staff and articling students

Requirements:

- ALS designation in positive standing with ALSA preferred
- Five or more years of post-commission experience preferred
- Project management and client coordination experience
- Proficiency with MicroSurvey, Trimble Business Center, or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and travel willingness
