The Senior Advisor, HSE reports to the Director, HSE, supporting 407 ETR’s Occupational Health & Safety Management System and Environmental Management System. The role emphasizes IHSA CORTM and ISO 14001 alignment, contractor management, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance. It also supports operational needs and corporate safety objectives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain OHSMS and EMS management systems
- Enhance contractor pre-qualification, selection, monitoring, and evaluation
- Conduct inspections and annual management system audits
- Lead incident investigations and support WSIB claims management
- Deliver orientations, training, safety meetings, and reports
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
- CRSP certification considered an asset
- Knowledge of CORTM, ISO, and contractor management standards
- Advanced MS Office, organization, flexibility, and deadline management
