This manager oversees logistics strategy, freight management, customs administration, and regulatory controls. The position serves as a subject matter expert on import and export requirements while supporting effective, cost-effective operations. Responsibilities span transportation, documentation, order processing, audits, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop import and export logistics strategy
- Manage air, sea, road, and courier transportation
- Oversee customs compliance and trade controls
- Lead freight tenders and supplier performance reviews
- Resolve shipment delays and compliance issues
Requirements:
- Extensive logistics, freight forwarding, or import-export experience
- Experience coordinating global air, sea, and road shipments
- Demonstrable customs administration and duty management experience
- Deep knowledge of import and export regulations
- Ability to manage competing priorities and projects
