This junior Electrical Ground Support Equipment and Test Engineer supports MDA Space’s Satellite Systems team. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while developing equipment used to test satellite electronic units. The work includes electrical design, documentation, manufacturing support, procurement, and validation. Your engineering contributions support testing activities and test data processing within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on test equipment development for satellite electronic units
- Support testing of satellite electronic units
- Design electrical test equipment and cable harnesses
- Produce electrical diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials
- Support procurement, manufacturing, and validation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Zero to two years of experience
- Hands-on experience in electronic design
- Skills in printed circuit board design
- Interest in laboratory work and cooperative engineering
