Cloud security expertise meets AI infrastructure at Baseten, where you will secure AWS and GCP environments supporting mission-critical model inference. Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.

As an experienced Security Engineer, you will help improve Baseten’s ML infrastructure security posture. You will shape security strategy and practices while protecting sensitive data. The work spans secure architecture, container security, and infrastructure as code. You will also support identity and access management and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design secure cloud systems and container orchestration platforms
- Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and remediation
- Embed automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines




- Oversee identity and access management strategies and tools
- Support compliance audits, policies, and risk assessments

Requirements:

- Three or more years in security-focused engineering roles
- Solid AWS or GCP cloud security knowledge
- Knowledge of container security and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
- Scripting experience for automating security tasks
