As Manager, Histology, you will manage departmental operations and people while working with the Director, Pathology Operations and Scientific Directors. You will foster safety, quality, customer service, employee engagement, and high performance. The permanent full time role is based at 115 Midair Court.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage histology laboratory operations and people resources
- Plan staffing, recruitment, training, scheduling, and workflow
- Monitor quality control programs and correct potential issues
- Recommend procedures, policies, standards,
and improvement initiatives
- Manage compliance reports, statistics, methods, and equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in healthcare or related field
- Three to five years of previous leadership experience
- Experience leading and engaging diverse teams
- Knowledge of statistics, management reports, and quality standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
