Use Excel and SAP to maintain project financials as a Project Controls Analyst in Calgary. This in office contract supports transmission projects.

The Project Controls Analyst supports system and customer-funded transmission projects across their full lifecycle. You will maintain financial data, execute cost control, and collaborate with Project Management, Finance, Regulatory, Procurement, and external providers. AESO Direct Assign and Behind-the-Fence initiatives are included.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and maintain projects in SAP using defined standards
- Prepare estimates, forecasts, billings, and project close-out controls
- Align cost estimates and forecasts with project schedules
- Analyze costs and report financial performance




- Prepare accurate project cost reports and follow change procedures

Requirements:

- One-plus years in Project Controls, Accounting, or Cost Control
- Energy or utilities sector project support experience
- Excel proficiency and ability to learn SAP ERP modules
- Post-secondary degree or related education and experience
- EPC, GAAP, or regulated utility accounting experience preferred
