The Laundry Aide performs essential laundry duties in a senior living facility. You will handle personal clothing and linens, follow machine instructions, and protect resident privacy. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and classify laundry by type, condition, and weight
• Wash, dry, fold,
  
  
  
  and deliver linens to appropriate units
• Separate personal clothing for repairs or ironing
• Observe machines and report malfunctions to the supervisor
• Maintain clean, orderly laundry facilities and equipment

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of washer and dryer operations
• Some knowledge of chemicals used in laundry processes
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Basic laundry knowledge with independent working skills
• Ability to use safe work practices and personal protective equipment

Support residents through dependable laundry service, protected equipment practices, and confidential handling of personal clothing and linens.
