Use aircraft structural dynamics expertise at Bombardier to analyze aeroelastic behavior, support testing, and advance current aircraft design studies. This is a regular day job in BAN.
As a Professional Senior Engineer, you will contribute to the Loads and Dynamics group within technical Engineering. Your work includes finite element modeling, aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic analysis, computational aeroelasticity research, and certification support. The position connects engineering disciplines and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain finite element models for aeroelastic analysis
- Conduct aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic simulations
- Participate in computational aeroelasticity research and development
- Support ground vibration, flight flutter,
and wind tunnel testing
- Integrate activities with multidisciplinary engineering groups
Requirements:
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Nine or more years analyzing dynamics in aerospace
- Previous MSC Nastran dynamic and aeroelastic analysis experience
- Strong understanding of unsteady aerodynamics, structures, weight, and inertia
- Programming knowledge in C, C++, Matlab, or Python
Apply structural dynamics, testing, and computational aeroelasticity knowledge to Bombardier aircraft engineering and certification work.
