Drive production planning and inventory optimization at Maple Leaf Foods through data analysis and fact-based decisions across supply categories.
As a Senior Supply Planner, you will develop plans supporting corporate service levels within inventory cost objectives. The role spans production capacity, inventory management, S&OP;, and new product launches. You will identify constraints, opportunities, and root causes affecting business objectives and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop production and inventory plans for manufacturing facilities
- Manage short-term and long-term manufacturing capacities
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities through the S&OP; cycle
- Analyze datasets and recommend continuous planning improvements
- Plan seasonal inventory builds and new product launches
Requirements:
- Three or more years of supply planning experience
- Supply chain planning experience within a CPG environment
- Bachelor’s degree or skilled supply chain designation preferred
- Knowledge of SAP-IBP and PowerBI
- Strong analytical, technical, interpersonal, and change management skills
