Design precision mechanical products in SolidWorks while working daily in-office with the Dynamics Engineering Team in Chilliwack, BC.
This senior engineer develops consumer products from concept through mass production. You will translate user requirements into manufacturable designs using 3D modeling, prototyping, testing, and revision. The work spans concurrent projects and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design precision mechanical products through mass production
- Create SolidWorks models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
- Apply DFM, DFA, GD&T;, and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Build, test, and refine functional physical prototypes
- Manage scope, budgets, timelines, suppliers, and manufacturers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Three-plus years of mechanical design experience
- Three-plus years developing consumer products through production
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and precision fabrication methods
- Experience with FEA, simulation, and design of experiments
