Operate powerhouse systems at Labatt as a Powerhouse Engineer, using mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance expertise on rotating shifts. Support reliable brewery operations.

This Powerhouse Engineer role supports Labatt Breweries of Canada’s plant utility systems and mechanical equipment. You will work with boilers, steam, compressed air, CO₂, pumps, valves, piping, and motors. The position requires a valid 5th Class Power Engineering certificate, with 4th Class preferred. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, operating records, and collaboration with Operations and Maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor boilers, steam, compressed air, and CO₂ systems
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain utility equipment




- Complete preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate operating, maintenance, and equipment records
- Follow safety, environmental, food safety, and HACCP requirements

Requirements:

- Valid 5th Class Power Engineering certificate
- Mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment troubleshooting experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Solid safety mindset and effective communication skills
