Lead Life and Disability claims quality at Medavie while coaching adjudicators and Appeals specialists through complex decisions. Support consistent, timely service delivery.

Reporting to the Manager, Quality Services, this Team Leader oversees Life, CI, Disability Claims, and Appeals teams. The position provides technical expertise, supports complex case decisions, and strengthens adjudication quality. It also connects Quality Services with Claims Operations, Medical Services, Legal, and other internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily coaching and guidance for adjudicators and Appeals specialists
- Support complex, sensitive, or precedent-setting claims decisions
- Ensure objective Appeals reviews meet service standards




- Distribute workloads and prioritize cases across teams
- Prepare reports on performance, outcomes, trends, and emerging issues

Requirements:

- Post-secondary university or college degree
- Minimum five years in Life, CI, or Disability Claims
- Ten years of Life and Disability insurance industry experience
- One year supervising Life and Disability Case Management
- Bilingual French and English communication skills
