Deliver compassionate MRI imaging at Canada Diagnostic Centres in Leduc, using patient positioning and equipment operation skills in a casual capacity.
Canada Diagnostic Centres seeks a certified or soon-to-be-certified Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for its expanding outpatient clinic. You will perform standardized and complex MRI exams under Radiologists and referring Physicians, explain procedures, and support patients throughout each visit. Collaboration and accurate imaging remain central to this work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct standardized and complex MRI diagnostic procedures
- Explain examinations, answer questions, and ease patient concerns
- Position patients and capture diagnostic images
- Monitor MRI equipment performance and document findings
- Prepare exam rooms and report low inventory
Requirements:
- Certification or forthcoming certification as an MRI Technologist
- Active registration or eligibility with CAMRT and ACMDTT
- Clinical competency in radiography and interest in expanding skills
- Venipuncture or Intravenous Therapy certification and current BCLS-HCP
- Compassionate, cooperative, adaptable, and flexible approach
