Lead retail pharmacy operations at Loblaw Companies Limited through medication accuracy, inventory control, and exceptional patient service. Support pharmacy customers daily.
Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, this position oversees pharmacy staff and department performance. You will prepare and dispense medications, counsel patients, manage inventory, and address requests. The role also supports budgets, sales opportunities, cost control, and community-based marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, guide, hire, and manage pharmacy staff performance
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and promptly
- Maintain medication and supplement inventory for patient needs
- Counsel patients about recent and additional medications
- Review budgets, sales, contributions, and department costs
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Class A license
- Minimum three years of retail environment experience
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- People management skills with coaching and motivation ability
- Healthwatch or KROLL Pharmacy systems knowledge is an asset
