The Manager, Financial Reporting & Operations leads two core Finance functions: Financial Operations and Financial Reporting. The incumbent will be accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness of transaction processing, period-end close, and financial reporting. The Manager will work closely with business leaders, Finance management, other Honda companies, cross-functional project teams to understand business activities and ensure their accounting and reporting impacts are appropriately addressed. As a key member of the Finance leadership team, the Manager develops people and strong teams, drives process and system improvements, and builds the team’s ability to respond to changing business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and Functional Oversight Establish functional objectives, priorities, performance measures, and service expectations Provide transparent direction for team results, significant deliverables and issue resolution. Monitor key risks, material issues, significant judgments and exceptions, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation.



Represent the functions in cross-functional initiatives and provide clear recommendations to Finance leadership and business stakeholders. Financial Operations Provide oversight of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory accounting functions, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, completely and within established timelines, policies, controls and approval requirements. Monitor operational accounting activities and key performance indicators, identify risks or service gaps, and implement appropriate corrective actions. Drive sustainable improvements in high-volume transaction processes, including standardization, automation and stronger use of system controls. Financial Reporting Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes, ensuring that required deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
