You will deliver consulting services for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. The work includes code strategies, technical reports, design reviews, project management, client communication, and mentorship. Projects cover Part 3 and Part 9 buildings under Division B of the Local Building Code.
Key Responsibilities: Provide building code, fire, and life safety consulting services
Develop practical code strategies supporting compliant project goals
Review designs and identify code-related risks and opportunities
Prepare code analyses,



reports, and alternative solutions
Manage projects, clients, deliverables, budgets, and schedules
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, fire protection engineering, or related discipline
Five to eight years of relevant professional experience
Professional Engineer designation registered or eligible in Alberta
Working knowledge of National Building Code Alberta Edition
Experience preparing technical reports and compliance documentation
