Job Description
This role involves working on a critical project, focusing on FHIR Subscription and Subscription Topic integration. The project aims to replace scheduled polling with subscription-driven event processing to enhance responsiveness to clinical information, referrals, reports, and status changes. Responsibilities:
• Assess polling-based integrations and workflows, identifying events that should trigger notifications
• Define and implement FHIR Subscription Topic resources and subscription lifecycle components
• Design, develop, and support Java and Node.js services for event publishing and notification handling
• Develop AWS Lambda functions and queue-based integrations for asynchronous event processing
• Implement reliable processing controls, including idempotency and duplicate detection
• Develop and support React applications using SMART on FHIR
• Configure Next Gen Connect (Mirth) channels for HL7 v2 workflows Senior Full Stack Developer

• Advanced FHIR Subscription and Subscription Topic experience
• Senior-level experience with Java and Node.js services and REST APIs
• Experience with AWS Lambda and asynchronous queues

• Hands-on experience with Next Gen Connect (Mirth) and HL7 v2 integration
