This Principal Network Architect role guides the strategic evolution of Control Plane, User Plane, and Management Plane functions. You will design CNFs and VNFs on Kubernetes and cloud platforms, while addressing network slicing, SBA, and edge computing. The role includes technical leadership across globally distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities: Define the 5 G Core architectural vision and roadmap
Lead CNF and VNF designs on Kubernetes and cloud platforms
Architect network slicing, SBA, and edge computing solutions
Guide engineering and development teams technically
Maintain high-level designs and architectural strategy papers
Requirements: Master’s or Ph D in a related technical discipline
12+ years telecommunications architecture experience, including five 5 G Core years
In-depth 3 GPP 5 G Core standards knowledge
Cloud-native, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD expertise
NFV, SDN, IP networking, MPLS, BGP, and security knowledge
Bring strategic architecture leadership, 5 G Core depth, and cloud-native expertise to a fully remote Principal position.
