This experienced Intermediate to Senior Electrical Estimator strengthens Houle's Pre-construction team. The work covers quantity take-offs, supplier pricing, quotations, tenders, and project cost analysis. Estimates support industrial, commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, higher education, and multi-use residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate project costs and assemble quantity take-offs
- Develop quotations for $1M to $100M opportunities
- Prepare supplier and subcontractor quotation requests
- Proofread estimates against scopes and specifications
- Draft proposals and submit specialized tenders
Requirements:
- Five-plus years estimating electrical construction work
- Relevant Electrical TQ, field experience, AScT, E.
I.
T., or P.
Eng.
- Understanding of electrical tendering and Bid Depository regulations
- Knowledge of Accubid and LiveCount estimating software
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs; Apply electrical estimating, tendering, and cost-analysis expertise to support Houle's major construction opportunities across British Columbia.
