The Queens Borough President's Office seeks a dynamic, motivated individual to join the Communications Department as a Digital Design and Content Manager, who will play a key role in shaping and disseminating the office's messaging to all 2.4 million Queens residents via social media content creation, website management and more. - 56058 Minimum Qualifications
- 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
- 2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
- 3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above. Preferred Skills
- Significant prior experience managing social media and designing content for either a government official/entity or private sector organization.
- Significant prior experience in both shooting and editing video content for dissemination on social media.
- Possesses strong writing and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of social media platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.




- Maintains a solid work ethic and ability to work well in a rapid-paced team setting.
