Lead network security automation and AI engineering at Canada Life in a hybrid role based in Toronto, Winnipeg, or London. Apply solid technical leadership to enterprise services. As Director, Network & Security AI and Automation, you will establish an engineering function within Network & Security Services. Your work will combine AIOps, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and AI security to improve service reliability and protect AI platforms, applications, and agents. You will also build practitioners and align delivery with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish the function’s roadmap, standards, priorities, and capability development
- Build and develop technical practitioners across automation and AI security
- Deliver reusable provisioning, testing, deployment, and lifecycle automation
- Engineer AIOps for observability, anomaly detection,



and proactive response
- Integrate controls protecting AI platforms, data, access, and agent actions

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
- Significant enterprise network and security platform leadership experience
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python or PowerShell, and APIs
- Understanding of DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, observability, and operational analytics
- Knowledge of generative AI security risks and enterprise controls Bring network engineering, AIOps, DevSecOps, and AI security leadership to Canada Life’s enterprise technology services.
