Build secure backend services and APIs at Remitly, using AWS and contemporary software practices. Work onsite Tuesday through Thursday under current hybrid expectations. As a Software Development Engineer II on the Trust Experience team, you will support systems managing customer verification evidence. You will design, test, deploy, and maintain services for onboarding and regulatory needs. The work includes databases, third-party verification integrations, and sensitive customer data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design modular backend services and APIs

- Improve testing, deployment, logging, and monitoring
Requirements:
- Three or more years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python
- Proficiency in ReactJS or Vue
- Experience operating production services on AWS
